Human protein kinase splice variant microarray.
SpliceExpress™ Kinase is the world’s first catalogue array for alternative splicing of the human kinome. Jivan developed a version for sterile kinases as part of an oncology research collaboration with Sugen, Inc., a Pharmacia Company, in 2002. In 2004, Jivan received a grant from the National Cancer Institute to further develop SpliceExpress™ Kinase for tumor diagnostics. Patents pending.
- Analyzes 528 human protein kinase genes
- Detects 12,675 alternatively spliced sites including:
- 5,433 for alternative exons
- 1,732 for retained introns
- 6,508 for alternative acceptor and donor sites
- Identifies 5,977 splice isoforms
- 37,964 oligonucleotide probes for alternatively spliced sites, exon junctions and gene expression
- Manufactured by your choice of NimbleGen Systems or Agilent Technologies
- Probes synthesized in situ on 1” x 3” glass slide
