mRNA Magic™ Installation Guide
mRNA Magic™ is Jivan's software tool for analyzing mRNA seq data and expression data. This page describes the system requirements and installation instructions. Full documentation of mRNA Magic™'s features is available from the Help menu of the application.

System Requirements
- Supported operating systems: Windows XP/Vista, Mac OS 10.x, Linux and Unix
- Memory requirements: 512 MB of memory is required; 1+ GB memory is highly recommended
- Java JDK 1.5 or higher is required
- Internet connection
Installing mRNA Magic™
Register first to download the latest version of mRNA Magic™. After you complete the registration process, mRNA Magic™ will automatically begin to install provided that you have Java 1.5 or higher installed.
A dialog window will appear, asking if you want to install mRNA Magic™. You must give permission to the installer, since mRNA Magic™ needs access to your file system to read and write data files. Click OK to install mRNA Magic™ or Cancel to exit the installation.
The installer should ask you if you would like to integrate mRNA Magic™ into your desktop. This will create a desktop shortcut to launch the application. It is recommended that you create a shortcut. Otherwise you will have to remember the web address, or create a bookmark for the web page.
After installation, mRNA Magic™ will automatically launch.
To launch mRNA Magic™ again later, you can use the shortcut on your desktop. Alternatively, you can bookmark the web page and launch mRNA Magic™ from your web browser by opening the page.
